Welcome to St Athanasius’ Coptic Orthodox Church

Established in 2001 and renovated in 2007 according to the traditional Coptic Orthodox Church design, our parish is located within the premises of the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Melbourne Headquarters in Donvale (formerly Whitefriars Monastery). The property boasts ample space for outdoor sporting activities, with a newly refurbished tennis/basketball/volleyball court and a children’s playground.

Under the guidance of our beloved parish priests, Rev Fr Antonious Guirguis, Fr Tadawos Abdelmalak and Fr Gregorios Awad, liturgical and community services are offered to all age groups.
